I’ve been doing a bit of number crunching. Specifically, looking at the usage statistics for our online resources. One figure that leaps out is the total number of Athens accesses from 1st January to 31st October 2014 inclusive: an impressive 29,102. In the whole of 2013 we managed 23,889 accesses, and we thought that that was pretty good. We are set to break the 30,000 barrier by the end of December.
Full text article downloads from all our Ebsco databases (CINAHL, MEDLINE, SPORTDISCUS, HEALTH BUSINESS ELITE and DYNAMED) have increased too. The total for January-October 2014 is 5349 – for the whole of 2013 it was 4401. Let’s see if we can reach 6,000 by the end of this year.
